MacroShift Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Traction Point Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the MacroShift mobile application (“MacroShift” or the “App”). This policy applies to users located in Canada and the United States.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal and user-provided information:

• Email address (used for account creation, login, and identification)

1.2 User Content

• Photos of food and meals that you upload
• Manually entered food or nutrition data
• Calculated macro and calorie information derived from your photos and entries

1.3 Coaching & Advisor Data

• Information related to your linked trainer, nutritionist, coach, or other advisor
• Any goals, notes, or adjustments they make within your account

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide AI-powered macro and nutrition tracking
• Analyze food photos and generate food entries
• Build and improve your personal food database
• Allow your connected trainer, coach, or nutritionist to access your data
• Improve app features and functionality
• Communicate service updates, notifications, and important changes

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Trainer, Coach, and Advisor Access

MacroShift allows you to connect your account to a trainer, nutritionist, coach, or other wellness advisor.

When you connect with an advisor:

• You explicitly authorize them to access your nutrition, macro, and food tracking data
• You may revoke their access at any time through your account settings
• They only see data related to your MacroShift usage

We are not responsible for how your advisor uses your data outside of the app.

4. Data Storage & Location

All user data is stored and processed on secure servers located in Canada.

Your data may be accessed by you and your authorized advisor(s) from Canada or the United States.

5. How We Share Information

We only share your information in the following cases:

• With your linked trainer, coach, or nutritionist (as authorized by you)
• With trusted service providers that help operate the App (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, AI services)
• If required by law, regulation, or legal request
• To protect the rights, safety, or property of Traction Point Inc., our users, or others

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including:

• Secure cloud infrastructure
• Access controls
• Data encryption where appropriate
• Internal data access restrictions

However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location (Canada or USA), you may have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for advisor access

9. Children’s Privacy

MacroShift is not intended for individuals under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time.

Updates will be reflected inside the App and will include a new effective date.

Continued use of the App means you accept the revised policy.
